Some interesting sites to check out

Triond is simply a site where you can publish just about any sort of content and possibly earn income by the click. It takes 10 clicks to earn a penny so you'd better drive some traffic to your pictures of your cat cuddling with a puppy, your haiku's about hip hop and your "Top ten things to do in Poughkeepsie" lists. It is free. And hey, click on some of my photos while your there! (There just pictures of my dogs swimming in Mississippi, but I like 'em!)

Famous for posting a video of her 300 page iPhone bill which she received in a box, Justine Ezarik is a lifecaster who lives in Pittsburgh (she gets extra props for that). In addition to being on the vanguard of this new phenomenon--she once published a video in which she said "I am the internet"-- I found her site to be enlightening--an in-track to what is hot in Web 2.0. Click here to go directly to her live webcast or check out her official blog at tastyblogsnack.com

Wanna discover some new music or share music with friends and web buddies? Try finetune. Another free site and they recently added a facebook association and the ability to add a player to your blog or website.

Last but absolutely not least... In case your living in your own personal daytime drama and you just woke up from a coma, get Gmail. Gmail is the best email out there with nearly endless and always expanding free services, and it helps that it is google's webmail offering and is highly compatible with Firefox. If you don't know what Firefox is then find out! It's free. And once you have Firefox I highly recommend an add-on called StumbleUpon. Originally it was just for randomly "stumbling" on sites related to your preselected interest preferences. It has been expanded to include social networking capabilities as well. GREAT way to find sites of high personal interest which you literally would never find if it weren't for this must have utility. Happy stumbling.

That's all for now. I just wanted to share some of the things I've found out there. They don't just jump in your lap, and the web can get pretty stagnant really fast without some sites like these to open new doors--and windows--into places that are fresh new and most of all readily useful to you.
