Call me a fool I don't care. Too late for that...
When I was a little boy I saw Conan the Barbarian. Burned in my brain was one scene especially. Conan is dead and his partner, a warrior herself, along with their friends, fight all night to resurrect him. As he awakens in the sunrise she tells him... "All the Gods they cannot sever us-- if I were dead and you still fighting for life, I would come back from the darkness... back from the pit of Hell to fight at your side." If that isn't the most "romantic" thing I have ever heard, well then tell me what is. I doubt you can come up with anything to match it.
So. I guess I was spoiled by such a concept, maybe "partners" should be less intense.
"Do you wanna live forever?"
